pr0mpt is published by iJarvis LLC. This policy describes exactly what data pr0mpt handles.
What pr0mpt collects
Nothing. pr0mpt collects no personal data, no telemetry, no analytics, no usage metrics, no crash reports. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no tracking technology.
What pr0mpt stores
When you customize directives, save custom presets, or edit the library, those changes are stored locally in your browser using localStorage (for the website) or chrome.storage.local (for the extension). This data never leaves your device. It is not synced to any server.
If you clear your browser storage or uninstall the extension, your custom data is deleted.
What pr0mpt sends
Nothing to us. The website and extension make zero outbound network requests to any iJarvis-operated server. The website loads its own assets from pr0mpt.us, then runs fully offline via service worker.
The extension reads and writes text into the input field of the active LLM chat page (claude.ai, chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, gemini.google.com, perplexity.ai) when you trigger an injection. That text is the directive you selected. pr0mpt does not read, store, or transmit any content that was already in the chat input or in the LLM's responses.
Extension permissions explained
- activeTab — needed to know when you are on a supported LLM chat page and to inject the directive into that specific tab when you click. pr0mpt does not access tab contents beyond the chat input field.
- storage — used exclusively for
chrome.storage.localto persist your customizations on your device. - clipboardWrite — used to copy directive text to your clipboard as a fallback when the active tab is not a supported LLM chat page.
- Content script scoping — the content script runs only on claude.ai, chatgpt.com, chat.openai.com, gemini.google.com, and perplexity.ai. It does not run on any other page.
The extension does not request <all_urls>, broad host_permissions, or any browsing-history permission.
Third parties
pr0mpt does not share data with any third party. No analytics, no advertising, no data brokers. The only third-party request made by the website is fetching Google Fonts (Fraunces, JetBrains Mono); if you prefer to block that, the site still renders correctly with system fonts.
Children
pr0mpt is intended for users 13+ in compliance with COPPA. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, and specifically not from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will reflect it. Material changes will be announced on pr0mpt.us.
