Meta-directives · for serious LLM work

Stop letting your AI hand-wave.

pr0mpt is 27 meta-directives across 6 categories. Tap a preset, paste it above your next prompt, force rigor. No more "roughly right." No more exit ramps. No more lazy confidence. Built on Claude Opus 4.7. Transfers to other modern LLMs with reduced effect.

Three principles govern every directive.

01

Imperative framing

LLMs respond to commands, not suggestions. "Do this" beats "try to do this." Every directive is written as a command that closes a specific loophole.

02

Falsifiable criteria

Every directive names a specific failure mode to avoid, not a virtue to embody. "No exit ramps" beats "be rigorous." Specificity is what gets enforced.

03

Stackable without contradiction

Directives compose in a deterministic order: Context → Scope → Push → Own → Output → Safety. 3-6 per turn works best; 7+ dilutes signal.

Six categories. One order.

01 · Context
Load session state. Priors, memory, constraints.
02 · Scope
Set depth and breadth. Holistic vs narrow.
03 · Push
Calibrate rigor. Attack hand-waving and exit ramps.
04 · Own
Delegate end-to-end. Make it execute, not ask.
05 · Output
Control format and deliverable type. Copy-paste ready, file, spec, CLI.
06 · Safety
Guardrails. Drift, over-confidence, public-artifact checks.
